👁️ What is an Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL)?

ICL (Implantable Collamer Lens) is a permanent, lens-based vision correction procedure used as an alternative to LASIK or glasses. It is ideal for patients with high myopia (nearsightedness), astigmatism, or thin corneas who are not eligible for laser eye surgery.

The ICL is implanted inside the eye, between the iris and the natural lens, and works to refocus light properly onto the retina.
